GitHub Axes Atom Text Editor, Recommends VSCode Instead
GitHub is 'sunsetting' the Atom text editor later this year. No further development on the app is planned, and encourages users to seek out alternatives.

@mattesilver @omgubuntu Possibly, I never used it, all I know about it is it was cross platform and on the web and it did not has MS branding. Thus its days were numbered starting the day they purchased github.
