Apple & Google track you, no matter how hard you try: "Both iOS and Google Android transmit telemetry, despite the user explicitly opting out of this. iOS sends the MAC addresses of nearby devices, e.g. other handsets and the home gateway, to Apple together with their GPS location. Users have no opt out from this and currently there are few, if any, realistic options for preventing this data sharing."

(i mieć nie będziemy- dodałem w myślach;) )

- Oczywiście, że mamy. Od zawsze na nim pracuję,
powiedziała Pani Marysia, dumnie prezentując uruchomiony program Calc pakietu LibreOffice.

Wpis na blogu Tutanoty o projekcie inwigilacyjnego prawa w UE mającego w założeniu poprawić ochronę dzieci. Zakłada on dostęp algorytmu do prywatnych wiadomości w UE poszukującego określonych, niby wiadomych treści (CSAM). Istnieje jednak wiele uzasadnionej krytyki wobec projektu, może on mieć wiele niezakładanych konsekwencji. KE powołuje się na tzw. 1:5, tzn. 1 na 5 dzieci w UE jest zagrożone, nie podając skąd takie szacowania (np. WHO mówi o >6 mln w UE). Tutanota dostała 1 wniosek od niemieckich służb w tej sprawie w 2021 roku (1,3% wszystkich), a raczej mieliby nienajmniej spośród dostawców e-mail. Wiele badań dowodzi ponadto, że z reguły ofiary znają i ufają sprawcom. To w skrócie jeden z punktów. Czy masowa inwigilacja jest w tym wypadku uzasadniona? Raczej nie.. Stanowi natomiast poważne naruszenie prawa do prywatności w UE.
